Nigerian man imprisoned in the UK for sexually striking lady who leased room from him

A 34-year-old Nigerian man has been imprisoned for sexually ambushing a lady who leased a room from him online.

Francis Ezenwankwo of Heston Street, SE14 was condemned to six years detainment and a multi-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) on Friday, 22 June at Snaresbrook Crown Court.

He was discovered liable of a strike by the entrance at a similar court on Thursday, 22 June.

The court heard that on 5 August 2017 a lady going by from another nation leased a room at Ezenwankwo's home by means of an online website, spareroom.co.uk.

Amid the night the lady arose to discover Ezenwankwo in her bed. In spite of her challenges, Ezenwankwo stayed in her quaint little inn ambushed her.

The occurrence was accounted for to police and Ezenwankwo was captured on 22 August 2017 - he was charged that day.

The Sexual Harm Prevention Order keeps Ezenwankwo from offering any space for lease, remunerate or as a present for a long time.

Learner Detective Constable Harriet Lyons, from the Child Abuse and Sexual Offenses, Command stated:

"The casualty has indicated genuine quality in approaching and answering to police. I energize any other individual who may have been a casualty to approach and contact the police.

Ezenwankwo's sentence and Sexual Harm Prevention Order shows how truly the police and the courts taken this kind of culpable. I trust that it will go about as an obstruction to others."
