America vs Iran: America Sending 3000 Soldiers To Middle East

The US Officials have said that about 3,000 additional United States military troops from the 82nd Airborne Division will be sent to the Middle East as a precaution to increased tension and emerging threats to American forces in that region.

This development comes after the Iranian military commander Qassem Soleimani was killed by the order of US President Donald J Trump.

Before his death, Qassem Soleimani was the leader of Iran's elite Quds Force, he was killed on the early hours of Friday 3rd January through an air raid at the Baghdad International Airport by US forces. Iran has threatened retaliation

US officials have justified the killing, alleging that an imminent attack was being planned by Iran that threatened American citizens. Donald Trump is yet to give further details of the "planned attack"

According to officials who spoke to news agencies but choosed to remain anonymous earlier this week, 750 troops were sent to Kuwait and they will be joined by the additional 3000 troops. Those troops were stationed after protesters attacked the US embassy building in Iraq last week.
