Just In: Man Utd boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to hold Ed Woodward transfer meeting today

Ed Woodward, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Mike Phelan and Matt Judge will hold a meeting about Manchester United ’s transfer policy once the Norwegian has taken the training.
United are set to face Wolves in the FA Cup tomorrow and had a training session earlier this morning.

Now, Solskjaer, Woodward, Phelan and head negotiator Judge are said to be holding discussions about the club’s January transfer targets, according to the Sun.
The report states that the main focus will be on an alternative to Erling Braut Haaland, who snubbed a move to Old Trafford in favour of Borussia Dortmund.
United had been heavily linked with the Norwegian and was widely considered favourites to secure his signature due to Solskjaer’s close relationship with the player.
However, he opted against the transfer and the Red Devils have turned their attention to other targets.
Lyon’s Moussa Dembele is one but the French side is keen to keep him and issued a public statement saying as much.
They are also in the market for a playmaker, with Leicester ’s James Maddison currently top of the list.
Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish and Norwich star Todd Cantwell are also among Solskjaer’s targets.
The future of Paul Pogba will also be discussed in the meeting after his agent Mino Raiola publicly criticised the club and the way it does business.
“It's a club out of touch with reality and without a sporting project,” Raiola said. “I wouldn't take anyone there, they would even ruin Maradona, Pele and (Paolo) Maldini.
“Paul needs a club and a squad, one like Juventus was before.”
It is currently understood that United are willing to let the Frenchman go if a club decides to meet their £150m asking price.
