Obasanjo House Burned By Fire (video)

The fire which started in late yesterday February 12th has destroyed the former president Olusegun Obasanjo's house in Ogun State.

Fires razes a section of Obasanjo

An electricity spike is believed to have triggered the fire that began at around 9.30 p.m. in a section of the house located at Ita-Eko in the Ogun state. Properties that have been damaged by the fire are not known, but it has been reported that neighbourhood residents have assisted domestic workers to put out the fire.

Fatai Adefala, Ogun State Fire Service Director, confirmed this incident. He said that the fire was only affected at the building's store. He also reported that fire officers were able to extinguish the fire at around 10:00 after responding to distress calls.
