Arsenal are willing to extend Martin Odegaard stay at the club as they have been impressed by the Norwegian midfielder.
Odegaard who is on a season long loan at Arsenal from Real Madrid has enjoyed an impressive start to life in the North London club. The 22-year-old midfielder was instrumental in Arsenal’s come back 3 – 3 draw against Westham United last weekend putting in a man of the match performance despite Arsenal’s poor start to the game.
Arsenal Boss Mikel Arteta has clearly been satisfied with Odegaard’s contributions so far at the club and is willing to fight to keep him at the club beyond this summer.
According to reports from transfer expert @FabrizioRomano “Arsenal are “so happy” with Martin Ødegaard’s impact on the pitch as during trainings, they will try to keep him. Arsenal will talk with Real Madrid at the end of the season, Zinedine Zidane’s future will be key to take a final decision about Ødegaard.” [@FabrizioRomano]
It remains to be seen if Arsenal could be able to sign the Norwegian on permanent basis this summer, however the North London club will try as much as possible to have him at the club next season even if its going to be on a temporary (loan) basis.
