Today, being the first day of the new year, means the January transfer window is officially open, meaning clubs are now capable of negotiating with other players. Of course, there are a few players who are yet to renew their contracts, which in turn would allow them to negotiate with other clubs this January. Below is a list of players who are now allowed to discuss new deals with other teams.

As for Kylian Mbappe, the PSG forward has made it clear that he won’t be negotiating or joining another team until at least after the end of the season.

The likes of Luis Suarez, Luka Modric, and Paul Pogba are also sure to complete the current season at their respective clubs before taking the next step.

Meanwhile, Ousmane Dembele could be shown the exit door this January should a suitable offer arrive for the Frenchman, who, on the other hand, is reluctant to sign a new deal.

According to the ever reliable Fabrizio Romano, Antonio Rudiger is very close to reaching an agreement with Real Madrid this January over a deal that will see him join the 13-time European Champions Clubs at the end of the season.
